Hola a Todos,
El pasado 16 de Septiembre salio a la venta un nuevo coleccionable de RBA, titulado "Carros de Combate".
La colección consta de una completa biblioteca traducida al castellano, editada bajo licencia de Osprey Publishing, y una colección de maquetas de Vehículos Militares para montar en plástico, de Italeri.

He podido ojear los cuatro primeros volúmenes de la colección, "El Temible Tiger I", "El Carro Pesado Königstiger", "Equipos de Combate Alemanes" e "Infantería Mecanizada", además del juego completo para montar el primer kit de la colección, en esta ocasión, se trata ni más ni menos que el Tiger I, correspondiente al kit de Italeri, ref. 6471 Pz. Kpfw. Tiger I Ausf. E.

Las publicaciones son de sobras conocidas por los aficionados, no obstante cabe resaltar, que de cada vehículo se trata su Historial, Desarrollo técnico, Datos de Producción, Historia Operativa, etc., todo esto se complementa con una colección de fotografías, perfiles a color y en los números dedicados a Vehículos concretos, una perspectiva en sección, donde se detallan partes y elementos que lo componen.

Esta colección ya fue puesta a la venta en el año 2000, desconozco si serán los mismo títulos o se irán alternando con otros nuevos.
Respecto de la maqueta de Italeri, los aficionados al modelismo saben de sobra su calidad y sencillez de montaje, teniendo una excelente relación calidad-precio.
Tras esta toma de contacto, comentar que el coleccionable, es muy interesante para cualquier aficionado a los Carros de Combate, pudiendo adquirir una magnífico conjunto a un precio razonable, junto con una buena colección de kits de montaje, en mi opinión es especialmente recomendable para aquellos que quieren introducirse en el mundo del modelismo de Vehículos Militares, pudiendo a la vez ir adquiriendo unos kits ideales para principiantes, con la documentación correspondiente para construirlos y pintarlos adecuadamente, profundizando en conocimientos técnicos e históricos.

I used an Allarmi figure, enhanced with a Hornet head, I hope you like it.

Hi All,
I'm now preparing the figure for the Type 97 "Shi-Ki" small ground, I choosed a nice figure from the Allarmi Catalogue, the sculpture is very well done, except the face, this is inexpressive, and I don't like it, nevertheless the uniform is exquisitely sculpted and casted. I change the head for another one new from Hornet, I do the rear protectors cap with tin sheet, finally y retouch with A+B putty. Now is ready to paint.

Estoy preparando la figura que acompañará al Type 97 "Shi-Ki" en su pequeño terreno para ambientarlo adecuadamente, he elegido una figura de Allarmi, la escultura es muy buena a excepción de lacara, muy inexpresiva y con unos ojos muy saltones, por el contrario el uniform está exquisitamente modelado. He cambiado la cabeza por otra de Hornet, los protectores traseros de la gorra los he hecho con lámina de estaño, repasando todo con masilla A+B. Ahora ya está lista para pintar.

Hi Friends,
I like to show you, my latest work finished, a Type 97 "Shi-Ki2 Command Car in the Malaya Campaign. The kit is an Azimut conversion over the oldie but goldie Tamiya kit.
I try to do a finish the more realistic possibe, all paint details and effects, without any small zones I cannot saw in pictures, was straight from real pictures.
This is the results:

Os quiero enseñar lo ultimo que he terminado de pintar, es el "estrafalario" Type 97 "Shi-Ki", vehiculo de mando, sobre chasis del Type 97 "Chi-Ha", he intentado hacer una pintura lo más realistica posible, salvo algun angulo o detalle que no he podido ver, TODO está sacado de fotografías de Type-97, he intentado huir de efectismos, modulaciones, etc., realidad DESCARNADA, sin cuartel, ni licencias, las sombras son las de los focos, por no poner, no le he puesto ni insignias, pues quería ponerlo en combate y la unica referencia es en la campaña Malaya, y allí parece ser que no llevaban nada.
He aqui el resultado:

The Type 97 "Shi-ki2, was finished and it's now ready for paint, it's a ugly, strange but very attractive vehicle. It had a lot of work, but I think the model deserves it. I like to than my friend Carlos Bravo for this helps with the resin pieces. I hope you like it.
Ya he terminado el montaje de este raro, feo pero a la vez atractivo vehículo, con torreta pero sin cañón.

Some progress in the Type 97 "Shi-ki", I add the right mudguard made in aluminium sheet, I used the original fender to cut the aluminium sheet.
I used also some PE sheets, the old Eduard item and Fine Models also.

I like to show you this figure, It was painted, in the our Asociation Workshop paint figures, latest winter. It was painted beitween explications and comments, all saturday evening.
Soon I will put it in its definitive place, sure I will enhace the weathering effects.
Quiero enseñaros esta figurilla, es fruto del Taller de pintura de figuras que hemos hecho este invierno, en la Asociación de Modelismo de Almería, todos los sabados por la tarde.
Para estar pintada a "retazos", entre explicaciones y los comentarios de Jose "Nashorn" y Antonio López, demasiado bien ha quedado. De todas formas cuando decida donde la pongo, reforzaré el "enguarring" para integrarla mejor en su ubicación.

This new AFV Modelling Guide show a great Leichte Jagdpanzer recopilation, Jagdpanzer IV, Hetzer and some Panzer '46, projects and prototypes.
The book has 128 pages, well printed in color in a good quality paper.
As well contain a very well detailed pictures about real L.J., profile colors and a draw collection, similar to the Achtung Panzer book series. The only exception, for me, is the japanese language imposible to understand nothing.
I like to recommend you, only the graphics has a very beatiful modelling book.Este es el último ejemplar de la serie AFV Modelling Guide, en esta ocasión está dedicado a los Jagdpanzer ligeros, Jagdpanzer IV, Hetzer y algunos de los proyectos futuros de la Panzerwaffe.
El libro cuenta con un total de 128 páginas, bien impreso en color y en papel de buena calidad.
Tambien contiene fotografias de ejemplares conservados en museos, perfiles a color y una colección de dibujos, similares a los de los Achtung Panzer.
Lo único malo para mi, es que está completo en japonés, y no entiendo nada de los textos.

Panzer III Ausf. N; OOB Model / Maqueta de Caja.

Now I'm immersed in an intense modelling activity, complex projects, commissions, a figure paint course in my Association headquarters, etc. All these obligations has two sides, the negative, its prevent me from for doing what I really feel like, as the positive side, It forces me to finish works that usually I leave it or would use too much time.

Como muchos sabreis, y si no, ahora os lo digo, estoy inmerso en un intensa dinámica modelística, proyectos complejos, encargos, el curso de pintura de figuras que voy a impartir en la Asociación, del cual pronto informaré, etc., todos estos compromisos, me impiden muchas veces hacer lo que a uno realmente le apetece, como lado positivo, tiene que te obliga a terminar y hacer trabajos, que si solo se hicieran por ganas, no se terminarian o se alargarían en exceso en el tiempo.
As compensation, I will attack a to detoxify, choose a good model, buils it with the minimum improvements to suit scale and not use any specific PE... I will use the kit supplied by the manufacturer, and some small improvements made homecocked.
Como contrapartida, voy a acometer un trabajo de los de desintoxicar, coger una buena maqueta, montarla con las mejoras mínimas para ajustarla a escala, y no usar ninguna plancha especifica de fotograbados… usaré el kit que suministra el fabricante, y alguna pequeña mejora realizada con restos de planchas de fotograbados, y algun remedio casero.
The kit chosen is the Tamiya's Panzer III Ausf. N, I bought it at Rainbow Ten, about 30,00 €, shipped included, clean and superb tooled, highly recommended. I will build it in "time-out" of another one ambitious projects, for now I used Sunday 30' to study carefully the kit, and cut (not cleaned), the pieces that make up the undercarriage.

El kit elegido es el Panzer III Ausf. N, de Tamiya, un maqueton, comprada en Rainbow Ten, me ha salido puesta en España por 30,00 €, como es norma de la casa, moldeado limpio y encaje sobrebio, muy recomendable.
Además, iré poniendo los tiempos que empleo en la misma, serán “tiempos muertos” de proyectos más ambiciosos., algun ratillo de televisión, etc. de momento ayer domingo empleé 30’ en examinar bien el kit, y soltar (sin limpiar), las piezas que integran el tren de rodaje.

Hi All, This evening I like to philosophise a while, about the Modelling Challenges.
Why do we a scale model?, Why do we choose a model?.
I know many types of modellers, there are in which prioritizes the collection, the most important is to finish another model to increase its collection, to others simply relaxes mounting and painting models, etc., all options are respectable if the modeller enjoy its.
In my case, essentially it moves to confront a challenge, I see a certain model with some effect or situation, that I have not done, and it move me the restlessness to do it, to investigate techniques, or simply to do something that had before not done previously.

Esta tarde me apetece filosofar un rato, sobre los Retos Modelisticos.
¿Por qué hacemos una maqueta?, ¿Por qué nos inclinamos por tal o cual modelo?.
Conozco muchos tipos de modelistas, los hay en los que prima el coleccionismo, lo importante es acabar otro modelo para aumentar su colección, a otros simplemente les relaja montar y pintar piezas, etc., todas opciones respetables y coherentes en si mismas.
A mi fundamentalmente me mueve, afrontar un reto, veo un determinado modelo con algún efecto o situación que no he hecho, y me mueve la inquietud de hacerlo, investigar técnicas, o simplemente hacer algo que antes no había hecho.

For now I have finished the cockpit, sure I continue building it.

Efectivamente se trata de un avión, es un Shidenkai N1K2-J, podeis pareciar la fantástica cantidad de efectos y el estado que presenta, he aquí el reto, reflejar en una maqueta todo eso que se ven en las imágenes.
De momento he terminado el interior de la cabina, aún queda mucho, pero por algo se empieza.
Y tranquilos, NO he dejado los Veh. Militares, esto es solo explorar otros caminos.

T-70 M; Miniart 1/35. (Ready to Paint - Listo para Pintar)

In this days, and resting for more complicated projects, I finished to build this nice model, so time ago, when this was a new, I start to build it, but some minor details don't convince me, and I park it.
Some weeks ago, I bought the Eduard PE, and I finish it, and now it's ready for paint:

En estos días, y descansando de otros proyectos mas complicados, me he decidido a terminar esta preciosa maquetilla de Miniart, la tenia prácticamente lista, siendo novedad comencé a montarla, pero no me convencian algunas cosas como los guardabarros, rejillas, etc. y la aparqué, recientemente adquirí el FG de Eduard y en dos tardes (bueno 3 ;-)), la he terminado, siendo este el resultado:

Tras el anuncio de Miniart del kit dedicado a la Harley Davidson WLA, que equipó a los aliados en la 2ª G.M., he constatado la gran cantidad de maquetas de motocicletas que han salido recientemente, todas ellas de gran calidad, con los radios (al fin) en fotograbado, idóneas para complementar dioramas y viñetas por su tamaño, o como "maqueta-maqueta", pasando lista:

I like to show you, a Japanese funny tank, I'm building it in free times, the Type 97 "Shi-Ki", was a Command Tank, used by the IJA, in the WWII.

Quiero enseñaros una maquetilla de esas raras que tanto me gustan, y que voy haciendo a ratos libres, se trata nada mas y nada menos que del Carro de Mando basado en el Type 97, y denominado "Shi-Ki".

It's an unusual vehicle, It have a 37mm. gun in the redesigned glacis, the turret gun was removed to install a bigger radio, two headlights, etc.
I used the Azimut conversion kit, with "oldie but goldie" Tamiya kit, my friend Carlos Bravo help me with the resin kit, now the pieces are ready to glue all in the hull:
Es un vehiculo peculiar, pues lleva como armamento un cañón de 37 mm. en el glacis, que es diferente del Type-97 "Chi-Ha", el cañon de la torreta se retiró para ubicar un equipo de radio mas potente, dos faros delante, y algún otro pequeño detalle.
He usado el kit de conversion de Azimut, que no está nada mal, con la venerable maqueta de Tamiya, y tras la colaboración con la resina de mi buen amigo Carlos Bravo, he aqui las piezas presentadas, listas para empezar a pegar el casco:

Tras la resaca de Almería 2009, hoy con más calma, me he dedicado a poner cosas en limpio y a navegar por la red, y me he encontrado esta jugosa novedad de Bronco:Ciertamente hay que aplaudir a Bronco, por esta novedad, un vehículo muy atractivo, y que yo sepa no se había realizado nunca en plástico inyectado, la originalidad del mismo y las decoraciones de finales de los años '30, o en las primeras campañas de la 2ªG.M., dan juego para atractivas viñetas.
Este lo hago seguro.

Me ha llamado la atención, de ahí el titulo de este Post, las novedades que ha anunciado Italeri para este año:

Todos son modelos originales, a destacar los carros italianos que tanta participación tuvieron en la 2ª g.M., a pesar de su fama, a veces infundada, de mala calidad y de estar obsoletos.
A mi personalmente me ha gustado mucho la "Coloniale", que puede dar mucho juego en viñetas y dioramas:
Con todo esto, recuerdo cuando yo era adolescente, que Italeri era una marca de referencia, modelos finos, ajustados a escala y los mejores en su época, el Panzer IV, el Horch, el Jeep..., los "box-art" con trabajos de Verlinden, eran toda una referencia.:
Luego vino el estancamiento, todas las marcas, sobre todo las asiáticas fueron avanzado, aparecieron los chinos, y poco a poco, Italeri quedó obsoleta.
Recientemente ha "empezado a volver", sus bazas, sujetos diferentes y originales, excelentes iniciativas como incluir un pequeño libro de referencia y una decidida mejora de calidad, que aún debe de incrementar.
Creo que siguiendo por este camino, el entrañable fabricante italiano, podrá situarse en el lugar que se merece por historia y tradición. Entre los mejores.

Gaz-67B, Tamiya 1/48, First Paint Coats.

Hi my Friends,
I'm painting the beautifully Tamiya's 1/48 Gaz, I start to apply the "4BO Green", I mix Dark Green XF-61, Khaki XF-49, Olive Green XF-58 and a bite of XF-4 Yellow Green.
Later I apply two lights, first adding XF-49 Khaki, second XF-14 J.A. Grey:
After I apply the shadows with XF-1 Black and XF-10 Flat Brown, very diluted:
Now Satin varnish, decals with Micro liquids, and finishing with satin varnish again, the tyres was painted with acrylic black color:
In the next step, the most funny, the weathering...

Heinkel He162 A-2 "Salamander" Tamiya 1/48. (A falta de remates).

Hola chicos,
Bueno, pues ya esta casi lista la pequeña "lagartija", le hecho el envejecido con oleos, las juntas las he remarcado con oleo marron oscuro diluido, para terminar solamente queda ponerle las ametralladoras, un cable que lleva en la cabina abatible, y retoques varios de pintura, desconchones, trabajar algo la tobera, alguna mancha más, etc.

Hola Amigos,
Pues acabo de terminar de colocar las calcas y barnizar la lagartija, ahora a dejar secar y a empezar con lo más divertido, el "Guaterin" ,-)
Finalmente como se trata de terminar un avion, no me he complicado con stencils, simplemente las calcas de la caja, liquidos micro, y barnices de micro antes y despues.
Las alas las he acabado más mate para representar el cambio de textura entre el metal y la madera. Espero os guste.

Finalmente la pequeña lagartija, poco a poco, va tomando forma, demomento, ya he terminado todo el trabajo de aerografo, y el siguiente paso será colocarle las calcas, he elegido la decoracion del "Leutnent" Rudolph Schmitt, con un ejemplar del 1/JG1 en Leck, Mayo del '45:

Heinkel He162 A-2 "Salamander" Tamiya 1/48. (Listo para empezar a pintar)

Hola amigos,
Ya he terminado el montaje de la "lagartija", y la tengo lista para empezar a pintar, a falta de los enmascaramientos:
Tamiya, aprovecha la pieza tansparente delantera, para cerrar el fuselaje, por lo que tendre que pintar en negro, pegar, lijar y volver a enmascarar antes de ponerme con la pintura del conjunto.
Lo primero que hare será aplicar el RLM 76, y detectar algun posible fallo de montaje, el frontal de la tobera ya está pintado con Aluminio mate en Esmalte de Tamiya, como encaja tan bien lo pegaré al final y ese enmascaramiento que me ahorro...
Seguiré posteando los avances.

Nostalgia

Hola Amigos,
De nostálgico se puede definir este post, no tiene otro calificativo.
Esta mañana en mi vuelta "mañanera" de Internet, una de mis visitas obligadas es el foro Escala Española, magnífico site gestionado por Dani Zamarbide y Paco Soldán, muy recomendable. En este me siento muy cómodo, el ambiente es magnífico y ciertamente hay muy buen nivel tanto humano como modelístico.
Acostumbran a cambiar la portada cada 2 ó 3 días, colocando un sujeto diferente, aviones, carros, barcos, ciencia-ficción, etc. Esta mañana han puesto como tema del foro, imagenes, póster y naves de la saga de Sci-fi, "Galactica".
Inmediatamente me han asaltado recuerdos de mi infancia, ¡como me gustaba esa serie!, el Capitan Apollo, Starbuck, los Cylones, los Viper, los Cylon Rayders, como disfruté ese verano...
De pronto me acorde que allá por mis 14 años, me lancé y transforme, un paracaidista de Esci a 1/35, en un aguerrido guerrero Cylon:
Que tiempos, yo los llamo del modelismo inocente y feliz, como me lo pasé y como paseé orgulloso, mi Cylon entre mis amigos, lo guardo como oro en paño, pues este "engendro" tiene casi 30 años.
El plasticard era de tapa del tambor de detergente, tisu encolado, y la masilla ni recuerdo la que usé, con que esfuerzo centre el punto rojo del ojo...
Solo quería compartirlo con todos vosotros, y no os riais, eso lo hizo un niño de solo 14 años y muchas ilusiones en la cabeza.

Heinkel He162 A-2 "Salamander" Tamiya 1/48. (Interior listo para pegar)

Hola Chicos,
Pues ya listo el Salamander para pegar ambas mitades del fuselaje, cosa que a ver si puedo hacer mañana, con la debida calma y cautela.
Tras trabajar la pintura de todos los elementos que hay que poner antes de cerrarlo, cambiar el fondo de fotografías y practicar un poco con la cámara, (os recuerdo que lo mio no son los aviones), esto es lo que ha salido, aunque al ver las fotos veo algun elemento mejorable, ciertamente me he divertido mucho (hace tiempo que no lo hacia tanto), y estoy razonablemente contento con el resultado.
Lo primero el asiento, con los cinturones de Eduard pegados y repintados para evitar el horrible efecto del "pre-painted", he aplicado las tecnicas de pinturas de figuras, para dar volumen al conjunto:
Este es el conjunto del tablero de mandos-pedales, es muy facil hacer el tablero con el FG ya pintado, pero hay que trabajarlo un poquito para evitar el efecto de pintura tan horrible, el transparente de la mira es un trocito de acetato transparente:
No hay que olvidar la gota en los diales para imitar el cristal:Aqui el lado izquierdo, piezas de fotograbado, e hilo de cobre, he manchado un poco con oleos muy disuelto para dar sensación de uso, el perfilado tambien está hecho con óleo negro muy diluido:

Esta es una de las patas principales del tren de aterrizaje, el cable es de cobre, y se pinta todo con Tamiya RLM Grey XF-22, para el metalizado he usado la gama de Warhammer, son acrilicos muy finos y resistentes con acabados metalicos increibles:
Ahora la pata delantera, idem al anterior, el neumático está sin trabajar, lo hare al final junto con los del tren principal:Este es el interior de los pozos, le he dado caña, pues quiero ensuciar bien toda esta parte del avión, poco academico, pero mis principios modelísticos no me permitan hacer otra cosa:
Otra vista, solo he añadido un cable, el resto tal y como venía en la caja:

Hola a Todos,
Queridos seguidores de Panzermodelling, hay circunstancias en la vida que ponen todo en su sitio, quitan importancia a unas cosas y se las dan a otras, no os alarméis, todo está bien, lo único que quiero decir con esta frase, es que a veces nos empecinamos con algo, nos metemos presión y en un momento dado, la vida nos devuelve a nuestro lugar.
Por circunstancias personales, he tenido que dejar las maquetas una temporada, no he tenido tiempo, y mi cabeza ha estado en otro sitio, ahora con todo más ordenado, todo vuelve a su lugar habitual y el mío, como no podía ser de otra forma es el modelismo.
Para mi vuelta, no podía complicarme con proyectos ambiciosos, necesitaba algo diferente y sencillo, algo que me permitiera disfrutar de una buena maqueta, sin ninguna presión y a su vez, que fuera nuevo y refrescante para mí, un pequeño reto, para volver a los grandes proyectos con más fuerza y ganas de superación que nunca.
No se si lo sabréis, pero en más de una ocasión he comentado que yo empecé haciendo aviones, hace ya un tiempo que tengo ganas de terminar uno, con mis técnicas actuales, y con alguna idea para imprimir mi sello personal, tras un par de intentos fallidos que por circunstancias varias, no he conseguido llevar a buen puerto, creo que ha llegado la hora de terminar un avión de una vez.
El candidato elegido, ha sido el Heinkel He-162 A2 de Tamiya a escala 1/48, por diversas razones, la primera, porque me parece un aparato precioso con cierto look “Star Wars”, la segunda, el soberbio kit de Tamiya, sencillo, preciso y que captura las líneas de este pequeño reactor a la perfección, un auténtico goce modelístico.
Ya he empezado con el montaje y la pintura, inevitablemente hay que empezar por la cabina, he posteado en el Foro “Escala Española”, los primeros avances:

Si finalmente lo llevo a buen puerto, seguro habrá una viñetita, con algún vehículo terrestre.

I'm now composing the vignette, in this case, I must forget all about proportions, compositions, blank spaces, etc. About the composition this is the "not-vignette", it cannot learn anything, only the inspiation from a picture.
Now I'm placing the figures to it's final place, and I must to do any transformation.

Ya estoy componiendo la viñeta, en este caso hay que olvidarse de proporciones, dimensiones, espacios muertos, etc., compositivamente esto es la "no-viñeta", no se puede aprender, ni extraer nada, sino simplemente, intentar inspirarse de una fotografía.
Ahora mismo estoy colocando las figuras, para ver su ubicación final y si tengo que realizarle alguna transformación:

Modelling is coming Panzermodelling, yes it's true, so many time y don't post anything about modelling, nevertheless I don't stop to modelling, I continue with so many projects, soon its will come the light.
The first project I will finnish will be the Hofbräuhaus, this is the famous Munich house, yes, it has a important history previous to the WWII, (Wikipedia article).
The history for me, start so many time ago, when I buy the book "Great Photographers Of World War II", Ed. Crescent, in the 101 page, there is a picture by Lee Miller "The Hofbrauhaus, Munich, 1945".

El modelismo esta de vuelta en Panzermodelling, si es cierto, hace tiempo que no posteo nada estrictamente modelístico, no obstante no he dejado de modelar, continuo con varios proyectos, que pronto verán la luz.
El primer proyecto que voy a terminar, será el dela Hofbräuhaus, esta es la famosa casa de Munich, que jugo un importante papel previo a la 2ª G.M. (Wikipedia article).
Para mi la historia comenzó hace tiempo, cuando compre el libro "Great Photographers Of World War II", Ed. Crescent, y en lapágina 101, está esta fotografía de Lee miller, “The Hofbrauhaus, Munich 1945”.
I was really impressed with the picture, this is a vignette, is an inusual composition, too large and out of proportion, but this is its power, in this time the 1/35 scale was too large to do a scene, (for usual people with usual houses), now with the 1/48 scale, I can to do it.
As I like to do something very special, I spoken with Carles Elias, to do the building, and the result is:
Quede realmente impresionado con la imagen, es una viñeta, con una inusual composición, demasiado grande y desproporcionada, pero esa es su fuerza, en esta época hacerla a 1/35 daría lugar a una escena demasiado grande (para gente normal con casas normales), pero ahora a 1/48 es perfectamente construible.
Como queria hacer algo muy especial, hablé con Carles Elias, para hacer el edificio, he aquí el rsultado:

Los Demonios de Berlin, por Ignacio del Valle.

Hola a Todos,
Quiero presentaros este libro, es de un joven autor, Ignacio del Valle, es una lectura recomendable prácticamente para todo el mundo, a los que nos gusta el periodo histórico de la 2ª G.M. , si no es así, también tiene suficientes alicientes para su lectura, por la intriga que desarrolla la novela.
La obra se sumerge en los últimos días del Reich en Berlín, la debacle, la continua escabechina, la miseria humana, el fanatismo, lo absurdo de la guerra, en este contexto magníficamente reflejado, se desarrolla una historia policíaca, con un final cuando menos diferente, que nos da idea de lo absurdo de la guerra y tanto malgastar vidas humanas. El protagonista es un divisionario azul, enrolado en las SS, como no, también hay una historia de amor.
Todos los datos, tanto técnicos, de material, ubicación, etc., en lo que mi conocimiento alcanza, están muy bien documentados, a mi personalmente me han inspirado para un par de viñetas más, que inevitablemente se sumaran a la larga cola de trabajos en mente para realizar.
Os lo recomiendo.

Ford Focus, Ninco.

Hola a Todos,
Aguantando la canícula de este caluroso verano, estoy de vacaciones y como no, "maqueteando".
Haciendo un parentesis en proyectos mas grandes y complicados, he pintado "un civil", seguramente os sorprenderéis al ver un vehículo civil en Panzermodelling, un buen amigo me pidió este pequeño favor, pintar a lo "bestia" un Ford Focus de Slot. Ciertamente, cualquier cosa así, me llama suficientemente la atención como para no necesitar que nadie me convenza, se trata de aplicar las técnicas que uso en la pintura de Vehículos militares en un tipo de maquetas, sobre las que no se suelen hacer este tipo de tratamientos.
Como ya sospechareis, me he divertido mucho, es un ejercicio que recomiendo a todos, del resultado vosotros opinareis.

Chars Frente a la Blitzkrieg. Por: Alberto Rodrigo Ramos.

De sorpresa se puede calificar la noticia de la impresión de este libro, además de sorprendente esta obra tiene mucho merito, pues se debe a la iniciativa particular de Alberto Rodrigo, un aficionado a la historia militar y al modelismo.

El libro cuenta con una total de 114 páginas con mapas explicativos y fotografías de época, está impreso en blanco y negro, excepto 15 páginas finales con perfiles a color.

Tras leer el libro, lo que más me ha gustado ha sido el texto en si mismo, se lee muy bien, es ameno, de fácil lectura, y consigue que nos hagamos una idea de como se desarrollaron los hechos en el verano de 1940 en Francia, como los alemanes se alzaron con la victoria, ante el que era considerado el mejor ejército de la época.
Tengo que confesar que hasta hace poco la Batalla de Francia en 1940, no me llamaba la atención, pero desde hace un tiempo y ahora mas, es una mina por descubrir, tanto por los hechos, como por los vehículos franceses por su colorido y camuflajes.

El único debe, es la calidad de las fotografías, la obra se merecería unas imágenes con mas calidad, pero tratándose del producto que se es, no desmerece y nos ilustran y sitúan a través de la obra.

A destacar también, el estudio de los colores de camuflaje, con todas las incertidumbres e interrogantes que aun hoy se plantean, los perfiles a color son sencillos, pero están correctamente explicados y documentados, proponiendo interesantes camuflajes para nuestras maquetas.

Hi Guys,
Finally the Jeep is nearly done, only rest to finished, the paint the seats.
This days I worked the Jeep's bottom surfaces, I used mixed techniques, with pigments, oils, acrylics, etc.
The wheels are worked with the same techniques, is important to see a lot of wheels, to obtain the most realistic look. The tools are painted with acrylics.
Soon I hope to show you the model finished.

Jeep, Tamiya, 1/48. (First Paint Process).

I just finished the first stage paint process, (airbrush and decals). I apply modulation color concepts, I insist in the "zenithal" ligths distinguishing the differents planes of the model. However, I think in the next process like the filters and oil weathering, the differents tones subdue the differences.

Hi My Friends,

I finished the build of the Tamiya's nicely Jeep kit, as I said is a great kit, but I'm a very "stubborn" modeller, and I like to advance to know the 1/48 posibilities, yes It's true, maybe some people already walked this way, but I need to walk it myself.

I use the Hauler PE, It's very suitable and welldone complement, I like to recommend all, for the rear charge I put in place the Black Dog resin accesorie, this is well, but the other pieces aren't so well done, and I don't us it.

The Tamiya's kit is very crisp and well done model:
The jerrycan is by Tamiya, detailed with PE parts:
The rubber joint for the wind-shield was made wiht thin plasticard sheet:
The instrument panel from Hauler looks really great:

In the last edition of the AMT Show, Xtreme Modelling Publications presented this little modelling handbook, writed by Javier Redondo and me.This is not an usually book, it is a handbook, is a book thought to be in or workshop to help us to do little dio's and vignettes. The text is very short and are concepts and rules to compose little scenes.The format is A5, it has 32 pages with many vignettes and dio's pictures, to explain the concepts plain and clearly. Us I telling you in the last post, Tamiya was announced the new tooling Matilda, It's the item number 35300, but is not the only new, the brand with two stars was announced also the 35301 item, it will be a Citroen 11 CV, staff car, this is in the catalogue to 1/48 scale:
I think this is a great new, a lot of modellers ask Why Tamiya don't make the 1/48 models to 1/35?, this is the first 1/48 model to pass 1/35 scale, I hope it will be the first, not the only.

This is a very pleasant (and surprising) new, a completely new tooled sWS with 60cm Infrared Searchlight Carrier 'UHU':

Certainly is a great news, this is a vehicele important in the final WWII stages, and only exist the Italeri's kit, and is important to have a new kit with the actual and modern standard quality. I think is also important count on with another one plastic kits manufacturer with new ideas and vehicles.

Austin Tilly. Tamiya 1/48. Build work finished

Hi All,
This is a model, (canvas exception), build in 4 hours, it's very easy to build.
The model is nearly perfect, I love it, Tamiya had a very well done work, easy and very pleasant to build:
I only added the headlight wire and the direction indicator.
Sure, I will paint it in the RAF service...
I recommend you, sure You will have fun with it.

Hi My Friends,
I continue with the T-34/76 paint process, once finished the whitewash base, I add the chipping effects, there are two kinds, chipping white and the usually rust chipping, I say ever the same, better less than in excess:

Now the model needs more contrast, I outline the hatches, panels and some details:
I add a great number of the oil stains with artistic oil paints:
For the tank bottoms, I apply Mig pigments...:
... and I fix it with oil earth paints diluted in Humbrol Enamel Thinner. It's important repeat the process until done the suitable layer of earth and mud, I repeat it in the wheels:
Still rest a bit of work, I like to barnish the bottoms to add a light of damp and more stains and effects. I keep posting.
